As you say, Max and Teemu likely off - assuming we didn't get promoted through playoffs.
The likes of Byram, Hughil, Argos, Sinani, Cantwell and Dowell out of contract. Some might say that some of those won't be missed.
Hayden goes back if not promoted.
So, from my point of view, while I think we may well end up in the playoffs and might somehow fluke promotion, the primary task of the new manager would be rebuild over next summer then test how effective the rebuild was next season.
