I think we should embrace Steve Bruce

The club is clearly in decline. Let’s accept it, rather than rebel, and appoint the High Priest of dull mediocrity. There is no safer pair of hands around to manage the dismemberment of the current squad and the spunking away of any residual funds. Imagine how grateful we’ll all feel when he successfully scrambles the final few points needed to narrowly avoid relegation this season.

(When I think through this scenario, makes me feel excited about Wagner. Well, relatively anyway.)
