I think Wagner might fit the bill. We need to rebuild our style if not players....

and Wagner definitely does play his teams far more in a passing style through the middle rather than booting the ball down the channels. Yes, his tenure at Schalke was awful and I don't know enough about the Swiss League to understand why he was sacked after coming 2nd (albeit 15 pts behind) in his one and only season there. Does seem harsh, however my contention is that we are closer to Huddersfield than either Schalke or Young Boys. Apparently WBA wanted to appoint him ahead of Corberon but he wanted a bit more time off at the time they approached him. Yes, if it is him it's a bit of a risk but so was DF and that worked out - as did Alex Neil. In theory DS wasn't a risk, but it turned out to be awful.

I would take Wagner - you wouldn't and that's fine because it's all about opinions. The only two things I do know is that neither of us will have any input on who actually is appointed and that we will all get behind the new manager until it goes wrong after 3 games and the backbiting starts! That's the way it is with every club now.
