Watching this slow motion car crash, with Deano in charge, play out makes it even more obvious that we are just a lovely pension pot builder for Deano.

As a Villa fan his pinnacle was always going to be getting to manage his beloved club and getting them in to the premier league. That was his ceiling. Once sacked at Villa any further jobs were just going to be nice little earners given his age and he would just go through the motions. Exactly what we have seen since the dry he walked into Norwich.

Sadly Webber could not see this and dived head first into appointing him as he had no plan after sacking Farke.

Webber is to blame and only Webber can change the situation but given he also has made it clear he is not motivated to be at Norwich either I fear nothing will happen any time soon. Even if it does I have no faith in Webber finding a suitable replacement.

A sad state of affairs for our club.
