Ferguson Scot Free?

Norwich City could be poised to move for Everton hitman Duncan Furguson after his release from the Toffees.

Sources on a local message board suggested that he was free and 'could do a job' before asking 'any thoughts'. Replies starting with 'spot on' were in abundance as fairweathered fans got ideas above their station.

When asked, Nigel Worthington commented. "There's nothing in the situation, we'll monitor the situation but that's football and I can't fault the effort of the posters but that is the situation"
