Yeah, QPR aren't bad, and the move to 4-2-3-1 suits the squad better.

Still looked like some weird team picks and some scattergun subs.

Not really a surprise that we created more when Dowell came on, as there's certainly an argument, for me, that he's the closest we've got to a true no. 10, and has a track record of creating/scoring from there.

Good to see Cantwell regain a bit of form, tho still waiting for that to translate to end product.

Gibbs doesn't look like a starter, to me, a promising player, certainly - but getting the balance right in those two slots in front of the defence is key.

Kenny played well filling in at left back this season... But he is not our 'best left back'.

As Worthing said, it feels like thin gruel at the moment - I'd feel more optimistic if I thought that we'd see this as the basis of the team, and things build on what was learnt here.

Feels like there'll be another baffling shuffle next match and the inevitable inconsistencies that that brings.
