so Delia Smith has "engineered a situation"

whereby Nigel Worthless can do whatever he likes in the way of incompetence without fear of any accountability or criticism whatsoever from the board, and everyone accepts what she says like little lambs.

Why exactly is Delia not the subject of the protests when it seems that her and her good for nothing husband are the only ones keeping the manager that no-one else wants at the club?
