I see this "terrible run of opening fixtures" about last season a lot

I hate it and I think it's bollocks.

Certainly it was in theory no tougher to my mind.

So what about in truth?

So, think I've made that logical and readable, the fixtures were marginally tougher first time round basing it against both the position of the teams played the previous season and the position at the end.

Realistically i think it was the internal mentality after the damage of the previous attempt and the easemwith which we were swept in the first 2 games... but we threw some punches in those Liverpool and Chelsea games 4 years ago, but bent over for them two years later
