Max has spells sometimes where he bets the bit betwen his teeth and starts roasting the opposition full backs and looks a world beater. That doesn't seem to be happening this season very often.

I'm not against the policy of generally being a bit more circumspect so we don;t get caught on the break as easily. But there needs to be a balance.
