I don’t know anyone who is anything other than bored rigid with the blanket coverage.

The article is obviously well over the top, but in one aspect the author is spot on. If we saw all of this nonsense we’re fed daily about the Queen, and the public reaction to it, in a different country - North Korea, Iran, Russia - our press and all the media would be ripping the piss out of them.

I am however keeping my trap shut about it. If people want to have a good wallow in this nonsense, I’ll just ignore it till it’s over. (Apart from this post of course. Which hopefully everyone will ignore.)
