Since posting the above I've just learnt that one of our suppliers has gone bust.
They'd been successfully trading for about 35 years and made 2.1m profit in 2019.
Of course businesses are carrying higher levels of debt, and with consumer spending on the floor it becomes harder and harder to service that debt. A couple of years back we we're in a good position, now the company owes over 100 grand and I have a potential personal liability of about 70 grand, which I don't have.
