Signing them on would just put us in the same situation as 2 years ago.

Cantwell, Hugill, Sinani and Onel were all made avaliable for transfer, went out on loan instead and are back here.

Byram has never been fit for more than a few months, he'd probably have takers as a free agent but would you invest any fee in a guy whose played so little who'll be 30 next season?

McGovern is 38, we've been giving him one years to keep around as a cheap 3rd option who's a great lad.

I'm surprised non-Newtonian has come in with a half decent bid for Pukki as I don't think we'd have stood in his way.

Dowell not exactly increased its value over the 2m we paid for him.
