Couple of years ago I stumbled accross an old episode of

Minder. Late 70s episode I think, maybe early 80s.
Arthur was doing some scam with tickets and had to go to Wembley stadium on a non match day to collect some dodgy tickets and as you say, it was an absolute dump in the immediate surrounding area. I couldn't believe it. Like pets of it were still to be redeveloped after WWII!
