Paraguay: 0-0 (4-5-1 bore draw; Owen's injury flares up after 32 minutes)
Trinidad: 2-0 (Owen recovers, but is clearly unfit. At 0-0, Sven abandons 4-5-1 at HT in favour of 4-4-1-1. After 83 minutes, he slings Crouch on to confuse the defence and he scores two late goals)
Sweden: 0-1 (Starts with Crouch in a 4-4-2 who is easily handled by the Swedish defence. Walcott's debut as sub ends in tears as he scoops a 2 yarder over the bar on 89 minutes)
Finish third behind Sweden and Paraguay who both hammer T&T. And no-one cares any more.
