Very sad to hear that Mike Burrows died today. I’m sure

many know of him even if you’re not a cycling fan but he designed the Lotus bike ridden by Chris Boardman to hold in the 1992 Olympics and the Giant TCR frame which became so successful in pro cycling in the 1990’s. Amazing bloke who is heralded as the father of modern bike design and all from a small workshop in Norwich. Met him a few times and he was fascinating to speak with. RIP Mike.
