Politicians have no capacity to see the big picture

Truss can’t think past next week but she’ll probably be PM soon. We need real vision and we have myopic short-termism instead on most issues.

My neighbour said to me yesterday “This global warming is rubbish it will be a cold wet summer next year”. He is a Tory member electing the country’s next PM. There is no hope I’m afraid.
