Pukki succession planning

And backup is essentially where we've got snarled up over the last three years.

Same with when Holt was in decline.

Same with post Sutton mistakes.

We were unfortunate with Dean Ashton, but should have moved for him earlier.

We should have bought a backup striker every year since that first promotion to push Pukki and offer backup. I get that we tried with Drmic (but I think we should have bought Rhodes). It semi worked with Hugill, but essentially sticking with Idah rather than loaning him out this year and last has flubbed the chance to move us on up top.

We've gone all in on getting attacking midfielders, but haven't recruited or got a system which has wrung enough goals from that tactic. Indeed, in order for that tactic to work, you'd think we need a different fulcrum.
