I really want to believe that Dean Smith is the problem and replacing him brings success

But I just don’t see it. I’m not suggesting the criticism of him in various aspects isn’t warranted - our record is appalling and we have made zero progress.

However, if he went, we’re still left with rashica, Sargent, McLean, Cantwell and Sorensen as a big chunk of our midfield and frankly, they just aren’t up to it in isolation of other higher quality players.

Nunez looks good, maybe Sara and Hayden will bring further improvement, not convinced we’ll be good enough though, regardless of manager.

Am I too negative?
