How can you miss the elephant in the room!
McLean was in the team as the sole defensive midfielder. Was he there to create….. no! He was there to cover the back line.
Dowell was in there to create, so we are told.
He does nothing. Can’t run, can’t tackle, gets knocked off the ball too easily, ducks out of tackles and doesn’t create
When,and it wasn’t often we attacked with any pace the game bypasses him.
Watch him and all he does with the ball is a safe square or backward pass!🤬
