I took my lad to Carrow Road a few times when he was

under two. No problems, he loved it and he’s been a season ticket holder ever since (now 27). Some of my mates did the same. Only trouble I had was at school when he was six he drew a picture and a story of what he did at the weekend. It always involved NCFC and one particular Monday he drew a picture of his favourite player (Darren Kenton) and then gave his report of the game. Apparently the crowd were angry with the referee and called him a “bastarr” (that’s his spelling). Teacher wasn’t too impressed. But you know what? He’s grown up to be a tremendous lad (ok I’m biased) working in a very responsible job which helps to improve people’s lives so apart from exposure to a bit of swearing, I don’t think it’s done him any harm and like me, he loves NCFC.
