Chimbonda is wrong to want to further himself. He's saying Wigan should be entiyled to get what tehy comnsider a reasonable fee, given that Chimbonda was presumably all-too-happy to sign a contract committing himself to them for X years when he was unproven and NOT attracting the attention of bigger clubs.

I agree Whelan should generally keep his mouth shut, but not about matters directly concerning his club.
