reading tea leaves

From last season and preseason, it feels like we are going to struggle to score goals. DS has gone for powerful runners in midfield, we lack a creative midfielder and the wingers arent firing. But we should be defensively more robust, notwithstanding injury shockers. we are favourites to win it at 5-1 which seems wrong.....lay them there? and lay goals scored?
Our squad is pretty good by champ standards but we likely have lower than ideal confidence and players seem not to know their roles that well too.
thoughts?
