Meanwhile, the PL2 has reverted to an U-21 format (previously U-23). And after the end of covid (!) overseas clubs will be invited to play in a League Cup competition against PL2 sides (no word if NCFC will be invited)

Birmingham have confirmed they have lost Cat 1 status, while Forest & Burnley Academies are also in danger of being downgraded.

There has been no official announcement yet but it is expected that a number of 15/16 year-olds will be awarded Academy Scholarships and join up with the Norwich U18 side this summer. Ansen, Doy, McCabe, Pinyon, Renecke, Roberts & Thompson were schoolboys who made U18 apps last season.

And finally, McAlear has signed with Tranmere and Khumbeni with Bolton.
