The results we’ve had in tournaments have been no more than “par” given

The level of opposition faced.

On almost every occasion we’ve faced a decent side or coach, Southgate has been shown up tactically.

Nice guy, good figurehead, has developed a good culture and certainly done reasonably.

But I think if we had a top notch coach we would have won one of the last two tournaments and I feel like we have gone backwards again this year and worry we might waste another good opportunity this winter.

I’m not “Southgate out” but I’ve never really rated him tactically and think there are others who would do better so if he left I wouldn’t be bothered.
