Never really convinced that Farkeball (whatever that was)

Did fail in the top flight.

The club/team/recruitment etc didn't work, as the results showed, but the idea that we had to/have to bin what was an incredibly successful approach in the Champs on promotion seems just as fanciful.

If we'd have got the spine of the team right and not had the injury crisis in Central defence I think we could have made Farkeball work...

All ifs and buts natch
