I have a couple of mates who only use cash....

If a pub, restaurant (usually a curry house) is card only they will not use it. Three reasons
1) Use of a card encourages them to drink more - just flash a card at a machine without thinking
2) Card's encourage price increases as people pay without thought
3) Cards trace your movements and shopping habits .

It can't - and sadly won't - last but basically I'm with them. I always try to pay everything by cash (though I do carry a card as well - I'm not that principled)
