Tbh I don't rate Pope /Foakes as highly as you do. That's fine. I do think they're both good.

Would have been equally behind keeping foakes in, moving Pope down to 5 or 6 and having Brooks in at 3.

Playing both Bairstow and Foakes doesn't really do either any favours, and playing Pope at a position he's not really used to again, doesn't really give him the chance to shine...
