The devil is in the detail and there's an interesting paradox here.

Supporters want us to have a better chance of competing and would like us to outgrow our current financial limitations if possible.

But at the same time, supporters are fearful of what new ownership might mean and can't really imagine any 'virtuous' model going forward. In a bind!

But as an aside, we do *keep* being told that the model we've followed is the only way to safeguard our future. Is that really true? Have we been conditioned by the club to fear investment?
