Coming from a completely not-interested-in-fo otball-really family, we did however always
watch the FA cup on the telly. Brother and I could pick which bottle of fizzy we wanted, usually cream soda for me and cherryade for him. Loads of Tudor crisps (we were ooop north) and a curlywurly.
Can’t remember much about the games but I did like the walking out,bands, wearing the cup lid as a hat, big collared suits and the pre match reporter on the coach. Halcyon days.
