I think there might be a touch of the Tettey effect....

What i mean is, often in PL seasons some of our defensive players end up looking relatively good, be it a goalkeeper, or CB that is constantly dealing with pressure, or a DCM that can tackle.

However, when back in the championship, where we have more of the ball and need to use it well, whether that's passing or running, those players aren't quite as good as we hoped.

But, certainly, it would have been good to have him play more this season. Particularly I would have liked to see him alongside Normann, however I'm not banking on him becoming a regular starter next season either.
