The fact we had no money in January isn't down to Webber

In the summer he knew we had to strengthen the squad so put all the funds into that recruitment. Obviously it didn't go well and was badly spent.

January was the time when most clubs in the relegation battle make a few signings but the club wasn't willing to risk it. So nothing Webber could do. Better off up a mountain.

The lack of recruitment in January killed off our season and led to a complacency in the squad.
