What is a winger these days if not a wide forward?

I completely forgot Placheta too!!!

This lad (if the link is true) would play wide in a front 3 or wide in a 3 behind Pukki? Those players I listed all take up one of those wide positions in either formation.

We spent a huge chunk of 30m on 3 of those players (and Dowell and Placheta were probably 2m each)...

It's just a big WTF for me.

I get the point you're making, I guess my point is there's a logjam there... and I don't see the point in giving Onel away when we know what he can do if fit. Huge if, sure, but I'd trust him to back up Rashica (if he stays which may be the actual issue)
