Yet More Doncaster Spin

This rubbish about Ashton completely misses the point. Ashton would have stayed had we not been languishing in mid table mediocrity, playing hoof ball rubbish. Had we played to his strengths and given him proper service we would have won many more games simply because he would have scored many more goals. I've always thought that NW was directly responsible for the disillusionment of Ashton, and his departure. To blame it all on the club's overwhelming "ambition" is, frankly, crap.
