A bit of honesty would be appreciated

I always thought Worthington was honest in his appraisal of performances and then there was season. A game with two shots on target and he thinks we're an improvement. Trouble is it seems to be rubbing off on the players. First you had Hughes stating thet "we have the best squad in the league" (nice one Andy!) and to finish the season off in some style we have Dixon telling us that in the first half against Wolves we, and I quote, "battered them". Now I don't know about the rest of you but that certainly wasn't my appraisal. A couple of shots on target and suddenely we're "battering" the opposition. Why Worthington and the players are living under such delusions I can't comprehend. In fact I find it insults my intelligence. I may not be the finest football tactician but I've watched footy consistently for 35 years and I reckon I can spot when a team are "battering the opposition". Well Dixon, Hughes, Worthington et al you may have got away with it this season but I don't think we'll swallow such ridiculous statements again next year so a bit of honesty would be appreciated.
