One of my earliest memories of going to football,
my aunt and uncle used to take me, they were season ticket holders in the South Stand. In those days season tickets were like a cheque book, with a cheque for every match, and a couple of extras for early cup ties.
One time my aunt lept up and screamed "go on Steven". I said is that Steven Gobels, from my school?
It was. Don't think he went on to do anything spectacular, but I always remember it.
You can't buy that Man City.
