ROYALS TO COP LEON

Reading want Norwich striker Leon McKenzie. Royals boss Steve Coppell said: "Leon is a player I know well and like. We're watching him but instigated nothing yet."

FIVE ALIVE FOR CURBS

Alan Curbishley expects to land all FIVE of his transfer targets.
The Charlton boss is chasing Crystal Palace defender Gonzalo Sorondo, 25, Blackburn hitman Jon Stead, 22, and Norwich midfield man Damien Francis, 26.
Curbs has already signed Darren Bent for ?3million from Ipswich this summer.
And he said "We have our fingers in about four different pies at the moment and I am hopeful with all of them. I have done my bit and once it gets past the chairman to agree the fees, I'll finish it off. We are not too far off bringing in the five people we want before pre-season starts. Then we will see if anyone is going out."
