Higher wages more than offset by higher housing costs. It will be interesting to see what happens if mortgage rates increase. Remember the 90's with John Major, the ERM and 10+ percent mortgage interest rates? I imagine that would f**k a fair few over... London prices only work at interest rates if 0%.

My 'bird' is a decade younger than me. A decade woker than me. I doubt she likes the term, hence the quotation marks.
