They’re pointless

Mid table mediocrity season after season, spending loads on mostly average players for little improvement.

We don’t have a pot to piss in comparatively, but we get dizzying highs and gut wrenching lows. While I’d love for us to stay in the PL for a few years, at least our extreme swings in form/success and failure ensure that it’s never dull.
