Strachan is a long time admirer of Hucks, and I guess he's just been settling in at Celtic, looking at what he's got and what he needs, then goes to the board to ask them to stump up cash for players. That's why it's likely to have taken until today for him to make an official approach.
Hucks though as good as his word. Snot about money and tiop level football for him anymore. He's settled and loves his football, and that can only be good news for us next season.
