Last season...

...I had tickets to the pre-season game at the Abbey, but at the last minute I got sent to Wiltshire on a panic job for the week.

Come the day, I completed my work, drove like a bastard back to Cambridge, picked up the missus, went to the game, dropped the missus off, drove back to my hotel in Wiltshire, and was in at work by 8 the next day.

I would bet 99% of City fans could come up with a similar story.
