Improvised home medical solutions are rarely a good idea

Though trying to improvise a kind of DIY stent for the old boy instead is in a whole nother league.

I mean he's having medical treatment in the US so he's obviously not short of a bob or two.

Couldn't he at least try a couple of lolly sticks as a splint, couple of rubber bands to hold them on or something?
