There are tons of players who helped us get promotions who are no longer here.

Its really biased if you just look at the bad signings and forget about all the good ones.
Players who we signed for next to nothing and gave us quality service.
Zimbo, Pukki, Vrancic, Steipermann, Onel.
Even players like Leitner and Trybull were extremely valuable at certain times while costing next to nothing.
Of course there are some duds but we often didnt pay much for those so its purely a percentage game.
Then we have all the younger and loan players we have developed.

If it was such a disaster why did we piss the Champs twice with no money while richer clubs couldnt compete?
