Thing is, farke was always doomed

If he was still here things would be getting toxic by now and he’d be taking quite a lot of blame.

By leaving when he did, he’s come out of it ok, and judging by popular opinion, increasingly viewed as not to blame.

My view is that farke moving on was the right decision, but that doesn’t mean we’ve necessarily nailed the new appointment. That said, I’m still hopeful we have.
