Next door's lop-eared monsrosity has a habit of wandering in and being f**king stupid for a bit from time to time. And were it not for the two delightful chillen who tend to it, I'd be tempted to return it from whence it came by means of a well-aimed toe-end, too.
Not impossible it's burrowed under there and since f**ked off. It ain't still missing, mind, as I can't hear two girlish voices mewling "Fluffy!" constantly.
Also, that wouldn't explain the aforementioned rustling c.Tuesday. Do wild rabbits knock around near tame ones? Suppose they would, really: ideal for picking up food, I guess.
