next transfer window needs to plan for championship

In the past 7 seasons teams needed average 35 points to stay up. That means we need 25 from second half of season, Wolves in 8th have 25 points from first half so we need to go from bottom form to top 8 form.

If we say this year’s bottom teams are especially poor we might only need 30 points so that is the same from as a current mid-table team.

So basically, unless we are lucky enough to find an Andy Linighan, an Alex Tettey, an Emi Buendia and a Grant Holt for little money then we are going down.

So would we be better looking at players for next season in the Championship rather than trying to stay up?
