Yep, sadly agree with all of that.

I did try and warn my Ippo cousin about all of this at the time of the takeover, but he was too glad to get rid of the old regime and too full of optimism about the potential future he saw for his club that I feel my reservations were too easily dismissed as just trying to piss on his chips. It did tickle me though that just a fortnight after the whole footballing world bemoaned American billionaire influence on the sport that they then get themselves tied up into it all! It now reminds me of the Newcastle fan angle.

In amongst those threads I shared and a few others I read is a Bristol City fan who has continued to post on there as I think MA really got to him bad and he's been at pains to warn them and only now are some of them starting to believe the negativity.

At the start of the season I was in a pub garden talking to Southend fans before they played King's Lynn (the same day we took our hammering off Man City) and the way Ips**t are lurching from one heavy reset to another with job lot player & coaching staff overhauls, it will only be a matter of seasons before they head further in the same direction.
