Lady nights team
Keeper - first choice
Right back first choice
Left back one of two first choice
Center back one first choice, one played champions league last season, until injured and replaced by someone who plays position for country and was excellent Saturday
Midfield McLean and Gilmour both recent first choice starters
Striker first choice
Right wing , not first choice but one of the better performers
Left wing, was first choice for many games and has been brilliant.
Defensive midfield played usual position until defender injured
So it was not really a makeshift team affected by loads of injuries.
But I do think we missed Norman and Rashica the most.
Most of that team played well Saturday so don’t understand why they played so badly last night.
Are Aston Villa are better than Man U ?
