That combined with him also not signing a new contract, tells me that I wouldn't be shocked to hear next month that he has left the club for free by mutual consent.

I think he can go for free at the end of the season anyway right? Maybe we have an option for one more year but cannot see why we would keep him around against his will if he is being disruptive.
