Saw elsewhere a post saying he was unwell but the lack of Dimi was a problem last night

Williams is a decent defender but every attack down that side grinds to a halt when he has to check back. Dimi can take his man on and cross from the left. He needs to be back in the team asap.

It’s part of the reason we were so dysfunctional and ended up hoofing it because there was no route out from the back.

I actually also prefer the Sorensen/Kabak partnership at CB for similar reasons. They are both comfortable bringing the ball out of defence.
