People need to cut the players some slack tonight

That was a team of “last men standing”. A number of them have barely played. Young lads with no experience of the Premier league. That starting 11 was not Plan A, it was Plan Z.

Given the lack of legs I wonder if we’ll now get a wave of further positive tests.

People are hammering us on the beeb text for how s**t we are, which is risible given injuries and sickness in the camp. Let’s not join the player bashing tonight. That was impossible with what we had against a full strength Villa.
